    You need Valid Driver's License or International Driving Permit Insurance card and declaration page (California Residents) Passport (Foreign Customers) Hotel Information and Flight Ticket (Foreign Customers) Credit Card
  • Does NY Rent A Car take debit cards?
    Yes! NY Rent A Car take debit cards as payment methods under certain circumstances. Customers who have no choice but to use debit cards will have to provide the most recent utility bill and bank statement with current residential address at the counter.
  • What is delivery service?
    One of NY Rent A Car's strengths is that we deliver your rental cars directly to your door. Before getting your car delivered, we will process everything including e-signing rental agreements and payments through online. Once everything is procesed your reseved vehicle will be delivered by our delivery specialist to your desired location. If you have any more questions about delivery service, please call us!
  • What is the mileage limit?
    NY Rent A Car provides 150 miles per day for free. Extra mile fee is $0.45 per mile.
  • What types of Insurance can I need to purchase?
    Collision Damage Waiver This insurance covers the physical damage of the car when the renter is involved in an accident. The renter will be waived from financially responsibility of the damage. This is optional; however, if the renter does not purchase this product and damages the car, he or she is financially responsible for the damage. Physical Damage Coverage This coverage provides the renter a physical damage coverage for the rental car with a $1,000 deductible. If the financial cost of damage exceeds $1,000, the renter will only be responsible for $1,000. California Basic Liability Insurance This insurance provides the renter a primary liability coverage up to the minimum requirements the state requires.
  • Does NY Rent A Car open on weekends?
    Yes, we do open on Saturdays from 9 A.M to 2 P.M. We are closed on Sundays.
